Dr. Larry G. Chorn, PhD, MBA, Chief Technology Officer - Dr. Chorn's 30+ years experience in Oil & Gas industry ranging from, but not limited to; CO2 injection, reservoir management, well drilling and market analysis. Larry received his MBA in Strategy and Finance at Southern Methodist University, a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois - Urbana, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois - Urbana and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Kansas State University. Larry's skill set blends a deep technical understanding of oil and gas production issues with economics and decision analysis to deliver high impact / actionable results. Larry also was an Associate Professor of Petroleum Engineering at Colorado School of Mines where he oversaw two graduate research theses on reserves estimation methodologies using reservoir simulation methods with geoscience and production history inputs, taught Advanced Reservoir Engineering at CSM’s Egypt campus, and developed/taught Petroleum Engineering Fluid Mechanics, Oil and Gas business management, Economic Evaluations and Advanced Reservoir Engineering courses. Plus served as the Chief Energy Economist for S & P Global Platts.
